PREFACE

Books on alchemy are always cryptic and full of double meaning. This is deliberate and planned. It is a tradition in the method of teaching alchemy and has been the safest way to protect and impart this knowledge throughout the ages. Without this inbuilt secrecy, most important truths would be abused by humanity, and the world would suffer the consequences.

On rare occasions an adept emerges from the crowd, when the time is right, to explain some of these fundamental truths in a way that inspires and changes the world forever. Such alchemists form the public history, and their stories have been written and rewritten over hundreds of years. Recent giants of alchemy include Flamel, Valentine, Philalethes, Paracelsus, Newton and Fulcanelli. We now have a modern-day adept, known as Artofferus, who has emerged to teach those who have eyes to see and ears to listen.

Our new author has given us a book that reveals the beautiful simplicity of nature and her methods of creation/evolution. The laws of nature – alchemical laws – are presented here in modern context, and form an important new definition for students of alchemy and philosophy in general.

In addition to revealing how to make the philosopher’s stone his ‘Easy Way’, Artofferus discusses the prophecies of Paracelsus, written in the 16th century. These predictions our author explains in the light of hermetic awareness, revealing important concepts in relation to drastic changes on planet Earth, this 21st century. Many writers in the past made predictions about world events, but these have been deliberately encoded for their protection from the politics of that day. Our new author has gone further than any writer before him, openly revealing hermetic relevance of past, current, and future events.

I have had the privilege of being a student of our author over the last 20 years. In fact, I encouraged him to write this book. I did not know what the content would be, except that all would be important and written by an exceptional person. The final result is an unusual format for an alchemy book that breaks all traditional methods. Concepts such as the ‘Language of God’ the author remarkably explains – for the first time in alchemical history – for which he uses the Bible as his main source, thus revealing that it consists of disguised, ancient recipe books for elaborating the philosopher’s stone.

Once we have the code we can learn how to use it to understand hidden meaning in Biblical scripture; then the Holy Bible becomes very relevant to any reader. The desire to know and understand becomes compelling to the point where one must do the physical work described in this book. No great, expensive laboratory equipment is needed when one understands the simplest laws of nature. Ordinary glass bottles and barbecue fires will suffice in the hands of knowledge. By contrast, modern science requires very expensive, high tech equipment to investigate nature’s laws, from a position of ignorance.

When we have done some of the described work, our insight into alchemy and nature’s laws will increase to the extent where one no longer cares about the position of today’s scientists and their current beliefs. Once we have experienced something ourselves, it becomes real to us, to the individual most important.

Artofferus gives us an opportunity to be involved in the future of our world rather than being an innocent victim of it. If we do his recommended praxis, we will gain the benefits offered. A casual, intellectual look into this work, dramatically limits the understanding of the reader. Armchair philosophers, with little or no experience in alchemy, may conclude that our author is a lunatic at best and dangerous at worst. How could science have missed such critically important aspects of natural law? Is it possible for a non-scientist to crack the code of nature’s building blocks, and achieve material matter that is beyond belief, even beyond the comprehension of modern science?

These questions will only be answered if one does the practical work described. Many have attempted to grasp alchemy, for centuries relying on old traditional works and tracts. Now, thanks to Artofferus, we have a totally new text. Several readings may be required before the lights come on. When they do, the diligent reader will be rewarded with knowledge that allows unexpected insight into ancient wisdom, which our author incorporates into a plan to urgently alleviate our world’s precarious situation, growing worse day by day.

Our author reveals himself as flesh and blood; a now elderly man, with human desires, needs and failings. His journey has been a bumpy one with life’s highs and lows, just like all of us. He struggled with the knowledge he got inspired with, and for many years had been unsure as to how to proceed in the larger world. Now at the pinnacle of his work, the way forward he has chosen is this book, a challenge for us, but well worth the effort. What may at first reading seem childlike concepts of nature can be understood on several different levels. However, while doing the work, nature’s laws are demonstratively revealed, and higher levels of understanding become clear. It is the very process the author has gone through, a process he strongly recommends, which he is desirous to share with his readers in an open manner.

Traditionally, alchemy has no recipe that can just be followed by anyone. It requires intensive study and personal input into the matter at hand. In alchemical work we become the catalyst between physical matter and the energies of the world. In placing ourselves in that position, we acquire extraordinary knowledge, but with it come responsibilities. Any abuse of this privilege will result in corresponding damages.

Mother Nature shows no emotion, and in matter goes about her work methodically and predictably. When we work with her according to natural law we will be co-opted into her sublime workings. Alchemy offers us a unique medicine: the philosopher’s stone, a medicine for metals and humans. In its optimum, ingestible form the medicine is said to reverse ageing, renewing the human body. Artofferus desires to share all this with us, and endeavors to make his treasured medicinal Stone available to the world. For those able and willing to embrace the ideas presented in this book, a unique way unfolds to become healthy, wealthy and wise.
